One of the most popular events of the annual conference, this 90-minute reception provides an opportunity for your alumni, faculty, administrators, and students to catch up on the latest news from your alma mater, visit with old friends and exhibitors, and make new ones, all in the ASLA EXPO area.
Each school takes their place on the show floor, creating the center of attention for an exciting reception! Schools can design and decorate their space and compete for prizes to the 2024 ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture in Washington, D.C. Great food, cash beer and wine bar, and games will be on the show floor as well.
The LABash Block Party is free to all registered conference attendees and takes place immediately after the education sessions end for the day.
All registered institutions for the alumni LABash Block Party receive:
- One LABash Block Party table on the EXPO Floor
- One tall School ID Sign to Identify School in EXPO
- School included on event signage in EXPO Hall
- School listed in the conference mobile app
- School listed on conference website
Prizes for school spirit and design/decorated space:
- First Prize – Complimentary LABash Block Party Table, fifteen (15) LABash student registrations, and three (3) full member registrations.
- Second Prize – Complimentary LABash Block Party Table, ten (10) LABash student registrations, and two (2) full member registrations.
- Third Prize – Complimentary LABash Block Party Table, five (5) LABash student registrations, and one (1) full member registration.
